For everyone living in Sydney or planning on visiting the city in the future, it is definitely worth exploring it by bike! We’ve selected Sydney’s most beautiful riding spots to share with you. Get out there, breathe in some fresh air, get that energy boost and take in the beautiful scenery.

Prospect Reservoir

Embrace mother nature and all the beauty it has to offer. Ride the 27km loop whilst enjoying the view of vast meadows and parklands. Stop at one of the picnic areas for a quick sip of water and take in the breathtaking landscapes. Note: When visiting the Prospect Reservoir, you can’t leave without taking a picture of the lake. Best spot to pull out your camera: Walder Park!

Centennial Park

There’s a reason this 3.8km loop along Grand drive has been bringing cyclists here for over 100 years. With its car-free level paths, learners’ cycleway and amazing lush scenery it’s no surprise that usually more than 750,000 people are jumping on two wheels and checking out the park.

Parramatta

If you’re interested in adding something extra to your ride and having a little adventure, Paramatta is a must-do! A history lesson while cruising alongside the Parramatta heritage. You’ll cycle the 19km loop without even noticing, thanks to all the stunning 18th-century buildings.

Olympic Park

Olympic Park is a great place to go for a ride. Feel like a short round? Check out the 5.5km trail. If you are yearning a longer ride, the 11km trail is your go-to! Cruise around on the calm tracks, enjoy art installations and lookouts.

The Bay Run

This 7km loop follows the shores of Iron Cove. It travels through parkland, covers Lilyfield, Drummoyne and Rodd Point, and you’ll never be more than 20 meters from the waterfront. The ride has excellent views of the bay, in the middle of which lies Rodd Island.
