Westergaard didn’t want the hassle or cost of owning a car, but he did want a premium eBike to suit his family's daily needs. With the high cost of car ownership, including parking fees of over 1000 DKK (€133.95) a month, leasing a bike made more sense. Through work, he could avoid a large upfront payment and benefit from favorable terms like insurance and a service plan. This concept offered a valuable employee perk, with financial, environmental, and health benefits for both the employee and employer—leading to the idea of JOOLL.
How exactly does it work at JOOLL, if I wanted to lease a LEKKER eBike?
Leasing a LEKKER eBike through JOOLL is easy. Your employer provides the bike, and a small monthly tax is deducted from your paycheck. Plus, insurance and maintenance are included, giving you the freedom to ride without any extra worries. Overall, you pay significantly less than if you were to buy the bike outright.
