LEKKER x Agnes Webber

LEKKER x Agnes Webber

We’d like to introduce you to Agnes Webber, the creative behind the camera and the face of many of the beautiful photos and videos you’ve seen. Known on Instagram as @agnes_fox, she’s been part of our journey for a while, and recently her boyfriend, Daan, joined the LEKKER family too. Together, they stepped in front of the camera as models for our latest photoshoot, making it the perfect moment to get to know them a little better.

Agnes arrived at our office on a rainy Friday morning, riding her Amsterdam Urban eBike — a fitting start to a conversation about life on the move. Over coffee, we sat down for a relaxed chat about her story, her adventures, and the life she shares with Daan.

We wanted to look beyond the beautiful images and introduce you to the people behind them. From the Dutch experiences that have shaped Agnes’s lifestyle to the way she approaches life, we got to know more about the person who brings some of the most playful and creative LEKKER content to life!

It was an easy conversation, full of great stories and personal insights that gave us an even better understanding of why this collaboration feels so natural. Now, we’re excited to share a little more of Agnes’s world with you. We hope you enjoy getting to know her as much as we did!

For people who don't know you yet, how would you describe yourself and your lifestyle?

My name is Agnes. I’m originally from Austria, and this year I’m celebrating a special anniversary: it’s my 10-year mark in the Netherlands! What most people don’t know about me is that I used to be a kindergarten teacher, and I think you can still see that side of me in the way I run my businesses and create content, especially when that sense of playfulness comes through.

If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s that my brain works a little differently — it works in videos. When I look at the world, what I see are stories or things that I want to tell, and video is my format. When something weird happens, nobody looks twice, and I’m always the one on the sidelines, peeking and snooping: “What’s happening?” I think this ability to look twice has helped me create some of my most viral reels in the social media space.

You've been riding a LEKKER bike for almost two years now. What do you remember about first receiving your bike?

The main thing I remember is how it felt. I'd had an eBike before, but it felt almost like driving a truck. Such a bulky thing compared to my LEKKER bike. And that lightness mattered, because four years of co-founding and running a repair company came with a lot of long work days. On the busiest ones, stepping onto my LEKKER bike after work felt like someone giving me a gentle little push. Like being picked up and brought home. Something reassuring, like, 'I've got it from here.'

Your boyfriend recently joined the LEKKER family too. How did that happen?

My boyfriend and I moved in together a little after I got my LEKKER bike, and all of a sudden, the bike was often at his disposal. He would see me working from home or simply not using it and ask if he could borrow it. That’s how it quickly turned into “our bike.”

I have a soft spot for surprising people, so I came up with this wild idea. Together with the LEKKER team, we made a plan for how to pull it off, and it ended up being one of the most fun reels to film because it was a genuine surprise.

Side story: I actually spent half a Saturday in the store downstairs, wrapping his new eBike, and everyone got so invested: the  customers passing by, the store staff, everyone was throwing ideas into the mix. And then, to park outside our home and see Daan’s face was priceless!

We can see your appreciation for the Dutch lifestyle through your everyday stories and observations. What’s your favourite thing about it?

I think the Dutch have mastered the art of never wasting a sunny day. Actually, I think it’s more than just about sunny days; it’s the ability to enjoy everyday life. I know it sounds very cheesy, but if you come from a place where it’s not like that, it makes a huge impression.

The fact that they’ll drag their living room furniture outside for a two-and-a-half-hour window of sunshine and throw it on the sidewalk — you’ve seen my videos, I love it — is my favourite thing. It’s that ability to make the most of a sunny day in the middle of a long list of things to do.

Your content creation is where we know you from. How did that come about? Did it happen because you started your business?

It was actually before I started my business. I think regret is something most people would see as negative, but I think it can almost be like a compass. If there’s something you regret in life, it means you valued it a lot, and if there’s something you can still do about it, you should.

I used to make YouTube content and stopped, but I always felt sad that I had given up on it. It’s something I really loved — this ability to look at life through a content lens — and I decided to go back to it a little before I started my business.

They amplified each other, of course, but I talk about all kinds of things on my socials, from living abroad to specific Dutch things, or just lifestyle content like moving in with my boyfriend. It has brought me some of my best interactions with people and brands, and that’s why I love it.

When I see your videos, I really appreciate the fact that you’ve managed to capture all of these funny or cute moments!

It’s a practice to capture these moments, but I will say that having my LEKKER bike makes it much easier, because I capture many of them while I’m on my bike. Sometimes I see something funny happening a few bikes ahead, and there have been times when I’ve turned up late for a meeting because I completely went off my route to follow one person doing something random on a bike. With my eBike, I can just scoot over and capture the moment.

Let’s close this lovely conversation with a quick “this or that” quiz. Are you ready?

Who is the better cyclist — you or your boyfriend? Daan.

Coffee stop or destination first? Coffee stop, 100%.

Who is more likely to suggest going somewhere by bike — you or your boyfriend? Daan.

City ride or countryside adventure? Definitely a countryside ride.

Who is more likely to get lost — you or your boyfriend? Me, 100%.

Early morning ride or sunset ride? I would pick early morning. Daan would pick a sunset ride.
